Darlington Station is totally re-modelled and features shops, turnstiles, signage, seating areas, ticket office, information displays and more. Clear windows have also been added at both ends of the station as well as lighting, ornate railings and other general platform clutter. The railway tracks inside the station itself have been laid so that they look realistic in the winter - normal dark gravel under the roof canopy and snow-covered tracks outside!
-
New night lighting has also been added to take advantage of the technology in Train Simulator but the route and building still look visually appealing and authentic even when the simulation is run on lower settings with TSX disabled
-
Numerous new assets have been specially created for the route, including new buildings, bridges, signage and other miscellaneous clutter. As well as the 'Northern Rail' Class 166 repaint, there is also a new bonus repaint of the HST 'East Coast' livery included.
