The Nederlandse Spoorwegen SGM Sprinter is seen in use on the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (Dutch national railways) network.
 
Powered by electric drive motors with an output of 1280KW, this Bo-Bo + Bo Bo and Bo-Bo + 2-2 + Bo-Bo formation train has a maximum speed of 120 km/h and weighs in at between 106 and 142 tons. Over 250 have been built. These entered service between 1978 and 2006.
