The YGB Seacow has been updated upgraded to our Advanced range!

The Advanced operating features give you individual control of the ballast drop doors - stand on the wagon's rear platform, rotate the individual control wheels and see the ballast actually come from the wagon. These are controllable on a left/right side of consist basis.

Please note that the included scenarios are not compatible for owners who purchased Train Simulator for the first time after 20th September 2013 unless they have the Oxford-Paddington and Newcastle-York routes installed. These routes are available for purchase from the Steam website.

The YGB Seacow is a ballast hopper which is used throughout the rail system, transporting and dispensing track bed gravel to track workers. This PlusPak provides eight liveries, all finely painted and authentically weathered for realism.

The PlusPak includes an interesting set of scenarios which you can drive on the default Train Simulator routes.

The wagons are modelled in great detail, and there's even an animated operator on the back of the wagons!

Scenarios

These scenarios are included for the default routes.

Monday Move (Newcastle to York route)
It’s 1981 and the last of the Class 55 Deltic's years in service. The new HSTs (High Speed Trains have all but taken over their former workings so they have been relegated to freight operations before they are scrapped. Today you must drive 5505 from Ferryhill to Thirsk, conveying some Seacow wagons.

Reading to Acton wagon move (Oxford to Paddington route)
Haul some empty Seacows from Reading to Acton in preparation for some weekend engineering work in London.

Milford Engineers (Bath Green Park to Templecombe route)
Haul some Seacows with a 7F from Evercreech Junction to Milford and pick up some more Seacows at Shepton Mallet.

Free Roam (Oxford to Paddington route)
As this is a Free Roam scenario you must remember to ensure that the route has been set correctly to avoid being directed into sidings or derailed on junctions set against the train.

"You will certainly not be disappointed with the detail on the wagon... Extremely intricate 3D detailing and very finely produced textures" UKTrainSim.com
