SCENARIOS

[TaD BONUS] 1. Loading Some Coal
A Norfolk Southern train is due to pass Emerald Mine and collect 30 additional hoppers, in about 45 minutes. However, these hoppers have yet to be loaded.

[TaD BONUS] 2. NS Train 776
Norfolk Southern Train 777 is a coal turn originating in Hyco, North Carolina, and terminating in Bailey Mine, Pennsylvania. Once 777 has been loaded at Bailey Mine, 777 turns into Train 776. Today, you will be taking Train 776 along the ex-Monongahela Line.

[TaD] 1. NS Train 573
Norfolk Southern Train 573 is an empty coal train operating between Sandusky, OH and Bailey Mine, PA. On a warm, spring evening, you are in charge of this train. You are held up at a restricting signal at Gate due to eastbound train N21, heading towards your location. Once N21 has cleared the road you will start your uphill climb up the Ex-Monongahela line.

[TaD] 2. Replacing the Power
Norfolk Southern Train 777’s lead two units have failed due to some electrical issues. Because of this, the two failed units need to be taken out of service. You haven been given the tasks of heading over to Brownsville with the failed engines in tow, drop of the engines, and bring the replacements over to the West Brownsville yard, and onto Train 777.

[TaD] 3. NS Train N21 Pt.1
Norfolk Southern Train N21 is a coal turn originating in Shire Oaks, travelling empty to Bailey Mine and then back to Shire Oaks. Your train has been loaded, and you are now ready to make the return journey. You will need to stop at Farm and Wayne to allow NS Trains 777 and N26 the way onto the double track sections.

[TaD] 4. NS Train N21 Pt.2
Continue your trip: You will need to stop at Ark to allow NS N72 to pass. The weather is still quite poor, so keep attention to a max.

[TaD] 5. NS Train N76 Pt.1
Norfolk Southern Train N76 is a “coal turn” service operating between Newell, Pennsylvania and Bailey mine, before turning around with a loaded consist and heading back to Newell. You have just climbed aboard N76 here at West Brownsville, and you have received the highball from the Mon Valley dispatcher, and you can now depart out of West Brownsville yard and start your journey up to the mine. First part of the scenario.

[TaD] 6. NS Train N76 Pt.2
Norfolk Southern Train N76 is a “coal turn” service operating between Newell, Pennsylvania and Bailey mine, before turning around with a loaded consist and heading back to Newell. You have just climbed aboard N76 here at West Brownsville, and you have received the highball from the Mon Valley dispatcher, and you can now depart out of West Brownsville yard and start your journey up to the mine.Second part of the trip from Bailey Mine.

[TaD] 7. NS Train C26
Even though it’s mainly coal traffic on the Ex Monongahela line between Bailey Mine and West Brownsville, there are still industries on the line, primarily in West Brownsville on the Southern side of the Monongahela, that require pickups and drop offs. On this warm summer evening, you will be driving Norfolk Southern Train C26 on a local run around West Brownsville, Brownsville, and Alicia, while making several pickups and drop off’s. Your conductor will be guiding you around the area.
