The JJA Autoballster has been upgraded to our Advanced range!
Advanced operating features include individual control of the ballast drop doors (you can see the ballast actually come from the wagon), and ballast drop floodlights which can be controlled from the remote control pad when you stand on the platform at the back of the wagon.
Please note that the included scenarios are not compatible for owners who purchased Train Simulator for the first time after 20th September 2013 unless they have the Oxford-Paddington and Newcastle-York, Cajon Pass and Rhur-Sieg (previously known as Hagen-Siegen) routes installed. These routes are available for purchase from the Steam website.
This PlusPak features two models - the JJA Autoballaster hopper wagon and the JJA Autoballaster generator wagon.
Supplied in six liveries, these wagons are finely painted and carefully weathered for maximum realism. The detailed modelling includes even the most intricate details, and there is even an animated operator character on the back!
These wagons can be found throughout the UK rail network playing a major part in track renewal works. They started life as KPA hoppers before being converted in 2000 to become the JJA, running in sets of five wagons, often with multiple sets in formation behind locos such as the Class 66 and Class 60.

"Very nice and highly detailed wagons... The 3D detailing and the quality of the texturing seem to me to be quite excellent" UKTrainSim.com
