SCENARIO DETAILS
Scenario 1: Round trip to Cresson and back
You take a loaded consist to Altoona Loop in Cresson. Drop off your consist and then you pick up the consist of empties on the adjacent siding. You then bring it back and drop all the cars on Slope Yard 5. Once you have completed this task you must park your engines on Slope Turntable Road.
Scenario 2: Work on the Slope
You climb into the GP7 and proceed to break down the consist of empties that you dropped off earlier. You must bring the different cars to their proper sidings for storage. These sidings are the factories across the rails from Altoona Station. Then park your switcher on the switcher siding in the same area.
Scenario 3: Passengers West
You will be making the afternoon run to Johnstown, With stops at Gallitzin Station and Cresson Station along the way.
Scenario 4: The Great Pennsy
Your shift begins today at 06:00 AM and you are assigned to the GP7 No. 3433. You will have to perfom some shunting jobs and a local freight run on the southern end of the route.
Scenario 5: From Woodvale To Altoona
You must add the caboose to the consist you built on Woodvale Yard 7 from this morning and bring it to Freight Transfer 1 in Altoona.
Scenario 6: Trouble in Cresson
A freight train has broken down in Cresson. There are three engines, but they cannot be certain which one is giving them the most trouble so you must take three replacement engines and go to Cresson Yard. There you will park the train and switch out the bad engines for the good ones. After you have them switched out you will bring the three bad engines back to the repair track in Altoona.
Scenario 7: Delayed Shipment
You will need to take this shipment to two different destinations. Part of it is going to South Fork Yard, and the second drop is in Woodvale Yard. You will end your shift once you park your engine there.
Scenario 8: Midnight Run
Good evening! You are in control of the 'Broadway Limited' to New York. The weather isn´t the best tonight, and an upcoming snow storm may hit you in the next hour. So, prepare for your run to Altoona and let the passengers board now.
