The Edinburgh-Glasgow Scenario Pack, developed by Gavin Dodsworth, provides six engaging and challenging new scenarios to enable you to explore the route from end to end and gives you many more hours of driving time.

All the scenarios work with the default RailWorks stock, and clear instructions of how to complete the various scenario tasks are included.

Note: Thomson Interactive's Edinburgh-Glasgow route is required for these scenarios to operate. The route is available to purchase from the Steam website.


SCENARIOS

First Service of The Day
It's a freezing snowy morning and you are booked to drive the 1R02 06:00 Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh service. Your first task of the day is to move the train from the Eastfield depot to platform 2 at Glasgow Queen Street. Once you arrive at Glasgow Queen Street the train will form the 1R02 06:00 Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh service. You will be required to change cabs by pressing shift and +. You are due to arrive at Edinburgh Waverley at 06:50, and as you get closer to Edinburgh you will encounter more traffic which may delay your arrival into Edinburgh.

Briefing: Upon you departure from Glasgow Queen Street you will call at Falkirk High, Polmont, Linlithgow, Haymarket and Edinburgh with a scheduled arrival time of 06:50.


Evening Express
Good evening driver. It's tea time and you are in charge of the evening express service from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverley. As you would expect, there are plenty of services running at present and the lines around Edinburgh Waverley are extremely busy. You may get delayed as you get near Haymarket and Waverley itself.

Briefing: On your departure from Glasgow Queen Street you will call at Croy, Falkirk High, Polmont, Haymarket and Edinburgh Waverley, where you are scheduled to arrive at 17:50


1R01 Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street
This morning you are in charge of the 1R01 05:55 Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street service. Your first task of the day is to move the train from the Haymarket depot to platform 9 at Edinburgh Waverley. Once you arrive at Edinburgh the train will form the 05:55 service to Glasgow Queen Street and you will be required to change cabs by pressing shift and +. You are due to arrive in Glasgow Queen Street at 06:49.

Briefing: On your departure from Edinburgh Waverley you will call at Haymarket, Linlithgow, Polmont, Falkirk High, Croy and Glasgow Queen Street, with a scheduled arrival time of 06:49.


1R31 Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street 
You are booked to drive the 1R31 Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street lunch time service. With it being lunch time, the lines around Waverley are very busy. All services in the area are running on time so no delays are expected for your service today - you can expect an easy journey with only limited stops.

Briefing: On your departure from Edinburgh you will call at Haymarket, Falkirk High, Croy and Glasgow Queen Street. You are due to arrive at 12:49.


Foggy Run
Good morning, driver. This morning you are booked to drive the 1R13 07:45 Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street service. Heavy fog has been reported in a number of locations, but as you get closer to Glasgow there isn't any fog reported. On your departure from Edinburgh you will have a slight wait to get into Haymarket due to 1E05 Glasgow Central to London Kings Cross running slightly late. 

Briefing: On your departure from Edinburgh you will call at Haymarket, Linlithgow, Falkirk High, Lenzie and Glasgow Queen Street. You are scheduled to arrive at 08:40.


The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Express
It's the opening weekend of the 2011 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Tonight you are booked to drive an express service from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverley. Scot Rail has laid on this express service so spectators can get to Edinburgh in good time for the 22:30 start. As this is an express service you will only be making two stops en route.

Briefing: On your departure from Glasgow you will make stops at Falkirk High, Haymarket and Edinburgh Waverley where you are due to arrive and terminate at 21:16.
